Video: You dare NOT disrespect an African parent

The culture in Africa these days is changing gradually. If you look at the types of food people eat in Africa now, the type of music produced, marriage ceremony types, amongst others- you would realize that 'foreign' culture is being practised more than what our (Africans) forefathers left for us.

The above notwithstanding, African parents (most) believe in ''Spare the rod, spoil the child'' way of bringing up young ones. It is not uncommon to find a child being given some strokes of canes for a wrong doing.

This African guy in the video was playing a video game with his white friend when his dad called him. He responded by saying '' Shut the f*ck off''.. Before this, the white guy had already ignored the mum in a similar manner but she never bordered to call him again or react. The response of the African parent, (though extreme in a way) is what  I call a typical 'Spare the rod, spoil the child' moment.
